《K90–99》는 이탈리아 밀라노에 한국 미술계가 주목하는 담론과 젊은 작가들의 시도를 소개하기 위한 네 번의 단체전으로 기획되었다. 이에 따라 네 가지 키워드를 선별하여 순차적으로 전시를 공개한다. 그 마지막 전시인 《Transcultural Fusion》은 보다 다국적인 차원(Multi-National)에서 통용되는 문법을 활용하는 작업들을 소개한다. 특정 장르나 매체에 국한되지 않은 상태로 상호간의 영역을 넘나드는 작업들은 타국의 정체성을 포괄하는 내러티브와 아이러니, 그리고 특이성을 창출해내고 있다.
Consisting of four rounds, 《K90–99》 showcases local trends in the Korean art scene and introduces young Korean artists to the Italian market. The final exhibition, 《Transcultural Fusion》 presents works that utilize common grammars on a more “Multi-national” level. Not limited to a specific genre or medium, these works cross over into each other's territory, creating narratives, ironies, and idiosyncrasies that encompass other national identities.
