Seounghee Lee
이승희는 인간과 반려견의 특별한 유대에서 출발해 인간과 동물의 상호적 얽힘에서 파생되는 다양한 사건과 조건을 탐구한다. 회화, 조각, 설치를 통해 동물의 신체와 일상의 사물, 디지털 이미지, 신화와 역사에서 가져온 모티프를 결합하며 사적인 경험과 사회적 구조, 현실과 상상이 뒤얽힌 비선형적 장면을 구상한다. 사랑과 의존, 통제와 희생, 유머와 슬픔이 함께 존재하는 관계의 복합성과 다종적 연대를 모색한다.

Seounghee Lee is a visual artist who envisions a world where human and non-human beings coexist. Beginning with the emotional bond between dogs and humans, she works across painting, sculpture, and installation to explore the intricate entanglements that emerge within the relationship between humans, animals, and the world. Through hybrid forms that merge objects and mythological figures, Lee visualizes multiple layers of connection, expanding her practice from personal experience into the realm of collective mythology to examine the possibilities of coexistence between human and non-human life.
