With the theme of God and the Dog’s heart, this exhibition is composed of the similarities between the two objects, the dog’s properties, sociocultural gaze and love. God may mean many things, but for most people, God is conceived as being some kind of mind. The mind of God is similar to people, but it brings out a special energy with respect to importance. I pictorially explore, through various media, what these properties and elements are.
I live with five dogs. Sometimes when I make eye contact with them, I feel as if all of my feelings, which I have hidden from them in the past, are discovered by them. They look at me with piercing eyes, as if they are saying, ‘I know where you were and what you did.’ Their eyes allow me to look into myself and see the lives of others. If it is true that God really exists, I wonder if he might have despatched a small sized dog god to Earth, because he felt sorry for the ruined human world.
